Project objective was to develop and implement a Web GIS solution that accelerates the process of spatial data collection, analysis and verification of the client’s GIS department.
In order to produce high quality map data, the client’s GIS department needed a universal web GIS tool that would collect data from different providers of spatial data services. The tool had to be able to synchronize the data with the client’s existing application.
The municipality needed a unified and effective system to better manage its multiple departments and services. The municipality wanted to create a system that would unify management of spatial data, synchronize department operations, and allow easy sharing among municipal personnel. Finally, they wanted the app to be publishable and viewable online so municipal residents could access the information.

They wanted a cooperative partner with extensive experience in the development of complex GIS applications and chose Intetics for its GIS expertise and outstanding project collaboration ability. The Client wanted a modern web application with interactive user experience, where the user could display and edit geographic layers and custom objects, such as technical means and map splitting into squares. The software application had to contain the capability to create and edit point, line, and polygon geo objects. The new application also required full integration with a parent application, in order to function as part of an automated information complex and to provide the most optimal geo-based business analytics results.

A power distribution infrastructure requires constant monitoring and reporting. An existing application that was used by the electricity provider didn’t provide sufficient performance and didn’t have a proprietary license. They wanted a modern web-mapping application with interactive user experience, where the user could display geographic layers of power distribution systems based on open-source GIS technologies.

A major European construction consulting company needed to develop an electronic system for long-term scheduling of residential development. The client specialized in assisting their customers with choosing best locations for new buildings. The choice of suitable locations was based on a comprehensive analysis of urban development, using satellite images, ecological and social data, traffic information, and city master plans.
The municipality of the largest city in Ukraine wanted to develop a GIS application to automate and centralize the work of all municipal departments. They needed a cooperative partner with experience in GIS development, who understood the peculiarities of municipal economy. They wanted a desktop GIS application that supported offline synchronization and could search, edit and analyze data stored in the municipal GIS system. Also, the application had to be simple enough to be used by users without GIS software experience.
Project objective was to help the Kharkiv Department of Ecological Inspections develop and integrate a new mobile and web application to monitor legal violations and misuse of natural resources in a national park.
The “Slobozhanskiy” National Park is a 5,244 hectare area located in an industrialized region that requires constant monitoring for ecological violations. Until recently, 35 inspectors from the government agency recorded violations and other geospatial information on paper and then input the data at the office using desktop GIS solutions. The agency wanted to use latest technologies to simplify the monitoring process and decided to find a partner capable of end-to-end development of a new cross-platform geoapplication, functional in the field and at the office. The application had to have multiple levels of accessibility for government staff and other non-commercial and remote collaborators. It had to receive violation claims remotely and record their exact coordinates. It had to allow editing of related spatial information, such as location and condition of fences, buildings, roads etc. It had to track the status of violation claims, generate map reports with violation locations, and use various geospatial data resources using WMS, TMS and REST standards. Finally, the application had to be easily maintained, cost-effective and integrate with existing databases.
A leading provider of navigable maps needed to perform spatial analysis on a large amount of data in order to deliver high quality map services to its customers. The existing application used during the client’s production did not support automatic data analysis and was not able to synchronize data with existing GIS systems. To solve these challenges, they needed a reliable partner with experience in building complex GIS solutions.
Project objective was to create a web application for a young start-up company that offers web services to farmers for better farm management.The goal of the start-up owners was to create an app that would consolidate agronomic data and make farm management easier. First, they needed a specialized information system that would contain the necessary data. The data from various data providers had to be aggregated into a local database, analyzed and delivered to app users in a format that allowed for quick and comfortable decision making about farm management.
The objective: to develop and implement reliable, public sources of information for Ukraine’s protected areas based on open source GIS solutions, helping the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine (NECU) maintain protected areas and decrease human impact on the environment.
The NECU, a major nongovernmental, non-profit ecological association in Ukraine partnered with Kyiv’s OSGeo Research and Education Lab at Taras Shevchenko National University to make information about nature conservation areas in Ukraine publicly accessible. The project was crowd-sourced and launched in 2014. Up to this point, the only source of public information and data about protected areas was in paper and raster data formats. The two organizations wanted to create a cadaster web application that would show the borders of Ukraine’s protected areas, but needed more GIS development expertise.
The municipality needed a unified municipal system that would integrate GIS into its daily operations, such as planning and management of major city departments, establish standard format for municipal geospatial data and share geospatial data with the city’s other departments, agencies and citizens.
The municipality is one of the biggest government structures in the client’s country and includes 27 departments with over 15,000 employees that provide over 100 services for city residents. The municipality needed a new platform that would allow the departments to collaborate and work together in an effective way. The platform had to enable high performance, accuracy and security, without interruption, as mistakes and delays were time consuming and costly.A regional cemetery operator in France decided to implement GIS-enabled CMS and get rid of outdated paper maps. GIS-based applications allow most cemetery record operations to be performed by using a displayed map. Functions such as searching, selling and interment record keeping are all done through the map interface. The agency wanted to use these GIS technologies to simplify the cemetery monitoring process and decided to find a partner capable of creating an appropriate cartographic base for such a system.
